Children's Privacy Statement

Sean And Jaxson cares about kids' safety. This website is made for families with young children, and we follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
What we collect
We collect only a parent or guardian's email address (and an optional first name) when an adult chooses to sign up for updates. We use it only to send Sean And Jaxson updates, new episodes and songs, and event news. (Song purchases are described below.)
- We never knowingly collect personal information from children. The signup form is for parents and guardians 18+ only. If we learn a child submitted information, we will delete it.
- We never sell or rent your information.
- Signups are stored using Netlify Forms (our web host's form service).
- Unsubscribe anytime by replying to any email or by writing to seanandjaxsonsworld@gmail.com. You can also ask us to delete your information.
There are no accounts, chat or comments on this site.
Cookies & trackers
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. There are no outside scripts on our pages.
Buying a song ($1)
Some of our songs can be bought for $1 by a parent or guardian. Kids never need to buy anything to watch, play or listen to the free previews, and a grown-up check comes before the payment page opens.
- Payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure page. We never see, receive or store a card or bank number. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- What we keep about a purchase: which song, the date and time, the amount, and the email address a parent typed on Stripe's page (if any). We use it only for our own sales records and to help with a problem. We never sell it or use it to advertise to children.
- Download counts: we count how many times each song is downloaded (the song and the time, not who).
- Records are kept with our web host (Netlify) and shown only to Sean on a private, password-protected page.
- Want a purchase record removed? Email seanandjaxsonsworld@gmail.com and we will delete it.
What stays on your device
The Jaxson Club close button resets each time the page loads. If you tap the light/dark switch, your browser remembers just that choice (the word “light” or “dark”) in local storage on your own device, so the next page you open looks the same. It is not a cookie, it holds nothing else, and it is never used for tracking. Only if a parent buys a song, your browser keeps a small note on your own device (called local storage, which is not a cookie): the name of the song and a private download pass, so the song can play in the music player and be downloaded again. It holds no card details and no personal information, and it is never used for tracking. To remove it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
YouTube videos
Our videos are embedded with YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube (Google) may still process some technical information when a video plays, under Google's Privacy Policy. Our videos are designated "Made for Kids" on YouTube.
Links to other sites
Links to YouTube and TikTok are meant for parents. Those sites have their own privacy policies and age rules.
Hosting
Like any website, our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. We don't use these logs to identify or track visitors.
Future app
Before our learning app launches, we will publish an updated policy. If it ever needs any information about a child, we will get verifiable parental consent first.
